Free Eye Medical Camp Receives Excellent Response at Sangam Village

Under the auspices of the Chaganam Lalithamma Bhaskar Rao Memorial Trust, Pellakuru, a Free Eye Medical Camp was successfully organized on 12 July 2026 (Sunday) at the Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Sangam Village, in association with Sri Venkateswara Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirupati.

Addressing the media, Managing Trustee Sri Chaganam Gowrishankar and CEO Sri Penuballi Seetharama Naidu stated that experienced ophthalmologists and specialist doctors conducted comprehensive eye examinations, provided expert medical consultations, and recommended appropriate treatment for patients.

They reiterated the Trust’s commitment to organizing free eye screening camps across all mandal headquarters in SPSR Nellore and Tirupati districts, encouraging people with vision-related problems to take advantage of these free healthcare services.

Camp Highlights

  • 147 patients received free eye examinations.
  • 52 patients were provided with free medicines.
  • 46 patients received free spectacles.
  • 11 patients were identified for free eye surgeries.
  • The remaining patients were provided with appropriate medical advice and treatment recommendations.
  • Free lunch was served to all patients and attendees present at the camp.

The programme was attended by Trust CEO Sri Penuballi Seetharama Naidu, the medical team from Aravind Eye Hospital, and other volunteers who contributed to the successful conduct of the camp.
