The Chaganam Lalithamma Bhaskar Rao Memorial Trust, Pellakuru, successfully organized a Free Eye Medical Camp on 27 June 2026 at the Arya Vysya Kalyana Mandapam, Naidupeta, under the supervision of Tirupati Sri Venkateswara Aravind Eye Hospital.
Addressing the press, Managing Trustee Sri Chaganam Gowrishankar and CEO Sri Seetharama Naidu stated that experienced specialist ophthalmologists conducted comprehensive eye examinations and provided expert medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment to all beneficiaries.
The Trust reaffirmed its commitment to conducting free eye care camps across every mandal in Nellore and Tirupati districts, encouraging people with eye-related problems to make use of these services, including free consultations, medicines, spectacles, and eye surgeries.
Camp Highlights
- 251 patients received free eye examinations.
- 75 patients were provided with free medicines.
- 101 patients received free spectacles.
- 61 patients were identified for free eye surgeries.
- The remaining patients received expert consultation and guidance for their respective eye conditions.
The programme was attended by representatives of the Arya Vysya Association, Naidupeta, including its President and Secretary, Trust CEO Sri Seetharama Naidu, the medical team from Aravind Eye Hospital, and other volunteers who contributed to the successful organization of the camp.
Following the programme, free meals were served to all patients and attendees present at the venue.
