Free Eye Camp Receives Excellent Response in Gudur

“Vision is the Most Important of All Senses.”

A free eye medical camp organized by the Chaganam Lalithamma Bhaskar Rao Memorial Trust, Pellakuru, received an excellent response in Gudur Town on 23 April 2026. The camp was conducted at the Duvvuru Narayana Reddy Community Hall under the supervision of Tirupati Sri Venkateswara Aravind Eye Hospital.

Addressing a press conference, Managing Trustee Sri Chaganam Gowrishankar and CEO Sri Seetharama Naidu stated that experienced specialist doctors conducted comprehensive eye examinations and provided appropriate medical advice and treatment to the beneficiaries.

The organizers reiterated their commitment to conducting similar free medical camps across all mandal headquarters in Nellore and Tirupati districts. Individuals suffering from eye-related ailments were encouraged to make use of these free services, including consultations, medicines, spectacles, and surgeries.

Camp Highlights:

  • 113 patients received free eye examinations.
  • 60 patients were provided with free medicines.
  • 28 patients received free spectacles.
  • 25 patients were identified for and offered free eye surgeries.

The event was attended by Trust CEO Sri Seetharama Naidu, Aravind Eye Hospital staff member Shankar, and other volunteers who contributed to the successful conduct of the camp.

Following the camp, free meals were provided to all patients selected for surgery and other attendees waiting at the venue.
