About the Scholarship

The Lalithamma Vidya Vikasa Scholarship is a noble initiative launched by Sri Chaganam Gowrishankar Garu, Managing Trustee, in loving memory of Smt. Chaganam Lalithamma Garu.

Funded with ₹15 Lakhs from his personal contribution, the program supports poor and meritorious students from Forward Castes studying in Intermediate and Professional Courses within Tirupati and SPSR Nellore Districts.

☑️ Courses covered: B.Tech, MBBS, or other professional degrees.


🧾 Eligibility Criteria

Academic & Economic Conditions

  • Must belong to Forward Caste.

  • Must have secured 75% or above in the previous academic year.

  • Annual family income below ₹1,20,000.

  • Must be studying in Andhra Pradesh, specifically Tirupati or SPSR Nellore Districts.

  • Preference to students studying in Government / Government-Aided Colleges.

Priority Order for Selection

  1. Orphan students.

  2. Single Mother child.

  3. Single Father child.

  4. Students with both parents (low-income families).

Not Eligible

  • Children of government or corporate employees (active or retired).

  • Students from other districts/states.

  • Students belonging to non-forward castes.

Step 2 – Fill the Form

  • Fill out the application in your own handwriting (English or Telugu).

  • Ensure no field is left blank.

  • Clearly mention your marks, income, and contact details.


Step 3 – Attach the Following Certificates

Please attach scanned copies (PDF/JPG) of these documents along with your filled form:

  1. ✅ Caste Certificate (Forward Caste)

  2. ✅ Income Certificate

  3. ✅ Study Certificate

  4. ✅ Marks Memo (Previous Academic Year)

  5. ✅ Aadhaar Card

  6. ✅ Death Certificate (if applicable — orphan/single parent)

  7. ✅ Recent Passport-size Photograph

  8. ✅ Proof of Fee Payment / Government Fee Reimbursement

⚠️ Applications without any of the above documents will be rejected.

📚 Selection Process

  • Applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Selection Committee.

  • Verification of academic performance and financial background is mandatory.

  • Physical verification may be conducted if needed.

  • Recommendations are not accepted — any attempt may lead to disqualification.

  • The committee’s decision is final and binding.


⚖️ Important Notes

  1. All semesters in a year are considered when calculating the overall percentage.

  2. Income from all family sources will be evaluated.

  3. The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final — no correspondence entertained.

  4. Selected candidates will be contacted directly by the Trust.
