The Chaganam Lalithamma Bhaskar Rao Memorial Trust, under the leadership of Managing Trustee Sri Chaganam Gowrishankar, has launched the Lalithamma Vidya Vikasa Scholarship 2025–2026 with a personal contribution of ₹30 lakh in memory of his mother, Smt. Chaganam Lalithamma.
The scholarship programme aims to provide financial assistance to 120 orphaned and economically disadvantaged students from eligible forward communities in Tirupati and SPSR Nellore districts, enabling them to continue their higher education without financial hardship.
Scholarship Highlights
- Total Scholarship Fund: ₹30,00,000
- Scholarship Amount: ₹25,000 per student
- Total Beneficiaries: 120 students annually
- Covers Intermediate and Degree/Professional Courses
- Preference will be given to orphans, children of single parents, and students from extremely poor families.
Applicants will be selected based on academic merit, financial need, eligibility criteria, and physical verification. Preference will also be given to students studying in Government Colleges.
