Lallithama Kanti Velugu:

Lallithama Kanti velugu is started to eradicate blindness among the people caused due to sight issues and also cataract problems particularly in the rural areas. We appointed a team of Optician and two assistants by our trust with required equipment and medicines. and they visited all the villages and diagnosed the patients who needs the medicines, spectacles, operations. Medicines & spectacles given by our trust free of cost and the patients needed surgeries have been got operated at Trinetra eye hospital run by Sukhabramhasramam Trust SriKalahasthi.

There after the trust has a tie up agreement with Sree venkateswara Aravind Hospital Tirupati with their support 70 free eye camps were conducted in entire Tirupati, Annamayya & Chittore Districts.
Approximately 12000 persons were examined in the camps, about 6000 people were diagnosed with sight problem and were given suitable spectacles. The persons who are diagnosed with cataract problems were advised to get the surgery. About 2000 people came voluntarily for getting surgery, they were operated in the eye hospital with free of charge. Post Operation care was also taken by giving required medicines and spectacle’s from the trust funds.
This activity will be continued to cover all the Rural areas in whole Tirupathi & SPSR Nellore districts.
