With the support of Sri Venkateswara Aravind Eye Hospital, a Free Eye Medical Camp was organized on February 8 at Buchireddypalem in Nellore District.
A total of 205 patients were examined during the camp. Out of them, 20 patients were referred to the eye hospital for cataract surgery. Additionally, 85 patients were provided with free spectacles. The remaining patients were given necessary medicines and other required medical services.
These services were carried out using the personal funds of Sri Chaganam Gowri Shankar, reflecting his dedication to community welfare.
Staff members of Chaganam Lalithamma Bhaskar Rao Memorial Trust, Pellakuru, along with the medical team from Aravind Eye Hospital, actively participated in the free eye medical camp.
